What we Believe

Our beliefs are based on the teaching given in the bible, which is the inspired word of God, and whilst we may differ on some minor points our main beliefs are held in common with all Christian churches, click find out more to see our beliefs

In summary we believe in one God who is the maker of all things and who is revealed in 3 persons – God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit.

We believe that man is prevented from having a right relationship with God by sin, but in His love and mercy God sent Jesus to take the punishment we deserve and to die on the cross in our place.

Jesus died and rose again from death on the third day and now reigns in heaven with God and will one day return to judge everyone, both living and dead.

We believe that everyone has sinned and is therefore separated from God and as a result faces eternal separation from Him, but anyone can be saved if they choose to put their faith in Jesus and receive the Holy Spirit, who will give them power to live a changed life in permanent relationship with God.
